4th
of July is just around the corner! We have lots of fireworks, BBQs, fresh
watermelons, and fun in the sun to look forward to.
Last week I sent out sunscreen info so this week I thought a little fireworks safety would be a great idea.

Firework Safety Tips:
- An ADULT should always supervise firework activities
-including sparklers.
- Never point or throw fireworks at another person.
- Never light fireworks while holding them in your hand
(Yes, this includes Roman Candles).
- Never lean over fireworks while lighting.
- Do not try to re-light or handle malfunctioned
fireworks.
- Keep a buck of water or water hose nearby to extinguish
fireworks that donât go off or in case of fire.
- Make sure that the fireworks are not being lit or sent into a dry area that could ignite a fire.
Also donât forget to support Addisonâs 4th of
July Festival and our own Julie Nix!
