Travel Safety

Safe July Travels

AAA expects there to be more than 41.4 million people on the roads this Independence Day weekend alone. Expect more traffic congestion if you are hitting the roads for vacation in July. Be diligent and drive with caution, especially around larger vehicles. Remember to:

Buckle up.

Slow down.

Don't drive impaired.

Keep your eyes on the road.

Be aware of truck blind spots while you travel.

Don't cut in front of large trucks.

Watch for pedestrians.

Prepare your vehicle for the trip.

Leave early to avoid risks.

Following these few pointers will help you get to your destination safely so that you can enjoy the trip.
